Coding

Students in Grades K-5  receive instruction on coding. Beginning in elementary, students learn about computer science fundamentals such as algorithms, loops and conditionals. Upper elementary and middle school students learn about programming languages, such as Scratch, Python, and HTML.

Robotics

The goal at UK12 is for all students to have an exposure to robotics and physical computing. UK12 also has a Robotics Club where students will be working with newly purchased FIRST Lego League robots.

Academic Games

Academic Games is a competition in the U.S. in which players win by out-thinking each other in mathematics, language arts, and social studies. Formal tournaments are organized by local leagues and on a national level by the Academic Games Leagues of America (AGLOA). UK12 focus is mathematics.
