Steps to Apply

Academic Probation and Non-Retention Policy:

University K-12 Academy is a non-retention institution, meaning that we do not retain scholars who are unable to meet our academic standards. If a scholar's GPA falls below the required 3.0, they will be placed on academic probation. During this probationary period, the scholar will work closely with staff to develop an Individualized Academic Plan (IAP) aimed at fostering academic growth and improvement. The IAP will outline specific goals and strategies to help the scholar meet the required standards.

If, by the end of the probationary period, the scholar does not demonstrate sufficient improvement as outlined in the IAP, they will be subject to removal from enrollment at University K-12 Academy. This policy ensures that all scholars are held to the same rigorous academic expectations, while providing support to those who need it.

Attendance and Behavior Policy:

Being a school of choice, transportation is the responsibility of the parent/guardian. Scholars are therefore expected to be on time and ready to learn. Excessive absences cap at 5 per year (both excused and unexcused).

Behavior: In addition to our district school code of conduct, University K-12 Academy has a Zero Tolerance Fighting policy. There can be no high level infractions while enrolled. Violation of either can result in your scholar being placed on probation or removal.
